salams to all..... I live just opposite academic high school and is born in Amravati.... academic ground my place to play hockey and later cricket..... stalwart players of hockey has their name inscribed on this ground.... shk imam, muqaddar ali baig and many more...... my father rais ahmed siddiqui was teacher in academic high school and served for thrice before retiring in 1986... I have so many memories of wonderful tournaments and great teachesr have taught thousands of students who are well settled in life... late Ibrahim ibban, late sabir ali, late tajuddin sahib, late wali ur rehman siddiqui, late Abdul majeed, iftekhar ali akhter, mohiuddin sir, shammim sir, shabbier sir, askari sir,.. late zaki sir and many more..... the building still looks magnificent and reminds the british era... there was a garden behind the school ... I miss the aura and the evenings at the ground.....regards.... asif siddiqui asifkhushiix@yahoo.co.in
